The National Agency for Evaluation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education and Scientific Research (ANEAQ), since its establishment, has equipped itself with the human and methodological resources necessary to actively contribute to the performance of the higher education system, in full synergy with the national strategy led by our supervising Ministry. Beyond mere regulatory compliance, ANEAQ has chosen to develop a rigorous and constructive evaluation approach.

The Agency has thus established itself as a key reference structure for ensuring the credibility, relevance, and performance of our higher education system, working daily to firmly embed a sustainable culture of quality assurance within the Moroccan university ecosystem.

In order to strengthen the confidence of students, families, and employers in our degrees and institutions, ANEAQ operates in strict compliance with national standards while remaining open to international benchmarks, providing an evaluation framework that fosters the continuous improvement of institutions.

Drawing on recognized expertise and a network of qualified peer experts, ANEAQ makes its evaluation methodologies and analytical assessments available to universities and higher education institutions, supporting them in addressing major challenges related to governance, digital transformation, and pedagogical and technological innovation.

ANEAQ’s activities are carried out through transparent and objective evaluations covering institutions, academic programs, and scientific research. This process is designed not as an end in itself, but as a lever for progress. Accordingly, our reports are developed to identify strengths to be enhanced and shortcomings to be addressed, within a partnership-based approach involving academic stakeholders.

Our objective is to inform public decision-making and guide higher education policies. In accordance with Law 80-12, our reports provide an accurate picture of on-the-ground realities, enabling the optimization of resource allocation for maximum impact and making quality the common denominator of academic initiatives across the Kingdom.

Through our strong commitment alongside our Ministry, universities, and all components of the higher education sector, we remain confident in our collective ability to build Moroccan higher education—one founded on equity, excellence, and collective advancement.
